Objective:
Asthma strikes minority communities disproportionately. The Consortium established the Community Advisory Committee to better reach African-Americans and other affected groups so that they can attain the information and resources they need to deal effectively with asthma. The CAC provides outreach to high-risk and underserved communities in the city and county through programs such as Breathe your Best for School Success.
